I've been trying again all this week

I've been getting this message all week. As the password reset system appears to let me reset my password, I doubt this is an issue with my credentials. I'd call if the paper bill didn't say I have to call during hours that I've not yet been able to call. I'll try again next week.

Windows will restart your computer automatically

I've been clicking Restart Later all day.

If restarting to apply updates is so urgent to prompt me to do it all day, I think I deserve to know why. What is the risk of not applying the updates as soon as possible?

No, I do NOT want to restart my computer now

Where's the "No, I don't want to restart my computer now, but I'm being forced to restart in order to use this program." option?

Don't make me lie to the computer by telling it I want to restart. I want to use the software I just installed. I don't want to restart; I'm being forced to restart.

How to inspire confidence

Trying again works in many cases? And when it doesn't: try again, again? Wonder if their cars come with similar instructions.
