Well, maybe not a software problem...

Twitpic is a service used by tens of thousands (maybe more) to share photographs on Twitter. They went down sometime this morning. The approximately 50 tweets per minute I'm currently seeing complaining about the outage leads me to believe people value this service.

@TwitPic says there's a power outage at their data center. Maybe someone kicked the switch on the power strip under the desk. :)

1. Injection Injection: Injection flaws occur when untrusted data is sent to an interpreter as part of a command. The attacker’s hostile data can trick the interpreter into executing unintended commands or accessing data without authorization.

Broken authentication and session management Broken authentication and session management: Application functions related to authentication and session management are often not implemented correctly, allowing attackers to compromise passwords, keys, or session tokens, or to exploit other implementation flaws to assume other users’ identities.
